　　CBS宣布续订《反恐特警组》第4季。

　　亨瑞（艾恩·格拉法德 Ioan Gruffudd 饰）是纽约城里最著名的法医，业内同行对于他的名声可谓是无人不知无人不晓。虽然人人都知道亨瑞在学术上的卓越成果，但并没有人知道，实际上，亨瑞已经活了200年之久了，一场意外永远的夺走了他获得死亡的权利，漫长的岁月也让亨瑞感到无比的疲惫，只求解脱。
　　亨瑞在太平间工作，整日里和死人打交道的他只想要在这些冰冷的尸体上研究出死亡的终极秘密。乔（阿兰娜·德拉·伽兹 Alana De La Garza 饰）是一位精明强干的纽约女警，同时也是亨瑞的搭档，乔的存在是亨瑞在这无聊的人世间唯一的指望和乐趣。

　　HBO宣布续订喜剧《球手》第四季。

　　Filming has begun on the third series of popular detective drama McDonald & Dodds starring Tala Gouveia and Jason Watkins in the lead roles.
　　
　　The latest series sees Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) join the cast as Chief Superintendent Ormond.
　　
　　Reuniting DCI McDonald, played by Tala Gouveia, and DS Dodds, played by BAFTA award winner actor Jason Watkins, season three of the Bath set detective series consists of four standalone films.

　　Speaking about her role in the new series, Claire Skinner, said: "I'm a huge fan of McDonald & Dodds so I'm delighted to be joining the cast as Chief Superintendent Ormond. Ormond is a quietly intimidating character so she'll be keeping McDonald & Dodds on their toes throughout this new series."
　　
　　In the first film, Belvedere, a young woman is found dead sitting in a deckchair in broad daylight in one of Bath’s most beautiful and populated parks. Why did this woman die with a smile on her face?
　　
　　Guest cast members starring in the first film include Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek), Holly Aird (Waking The Dead), , Catherine Tyldesley (Coronation Street) and Dame Siân Phillips (I, Claudius).
　　The series was commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Rebecca Davies. Executive producers are Damien Timmer and creator and lead writer Robert Murphy. Robert Murphy has written films one and four, Robert Drummond has written film two and Kam Odedra has written film three. Directors are Robert Quinn, Isher Sahota, Ian Aryeh and Sasha Ransome.
　　McDonald & Dodds is produced by leading independent production company Mammoth Screen, co-produced by BritBox North America, and created by Robert Murphy. Series two achieved consolidated ratings of 6.7m.
　　
　　The first and second series are available to view via streaming platform Britbox North America. ITV Studios will distribute the drama internationally.

广受好评的选集《恐怖秀》第四季将于10月13日在颤栗频道首播。

　　USA剧《黑客军团》第三季确定在美国时间10月11日作新季首播，在新一季中会探讨每个角色的动机，以及Elliot与机器人先生（Rami Malek及Christian Slater饰）之间的分裂。

　　《更美好的事》由Louis C.K.及Pamela Adlon主创，该剧算是Pamela Adlon半自传性质剧，讲述一位中产单身母亲女演员，如何整天工作之余，还照顾起三个女儿（Mikey Madison﹑Hannah Alligood﹑Olivia Edward饰），而且她还得抽空应付住在对面街的英国籍母亲（Celia Imrie饰）。Louis C.K.及Pamela Adlon负责了首集剧本。

　　Michael Weston是在尼日利亚工作的间谍，每天的工作就是守侯、监视、行动、还有...做好准备随时可能被人杀掉。

　　《星际迷航:下一代》(简称TNG)是《星际迷航》系列的第2部剧集，台湾翻译为《银河飞龙》，于1987-1994年共播出了7季。该剧讲述的是在24世纪，《星际迷航:原初系列》(简称TOS)的八十年后，Picard舰长率领企业号D继续探索太空的冒险故事。
　　每一集的开头都有这样一段话：「宇宙，人类最后的边疆，这是星舰企业号的旅程，它所持续的使命，是为了探索陌生的新世界，寻找新的生命及新的文明，勇敢地航向那前所未至的宇宙洪荒。」
　　这段话和「原初系列」的版本并没有太大的差别，为了更强调银河中有许多不同的人种，「man」也改成了用　one　代替，不光指地球人类。
　　由于电影第四集「抢救未来」最后出现了企业号A (NCC-1701-A)，「TNG」的企业号编号改为现在大家熟悉的 NCC-1701-D，一直到现在，只有企业号的编号是维持不变，后面再挂上字母的，这是企业号的特权，其它星舰在不同时代即使有重复的名称，也不会有相同的编号。
　　星舰企业号D的舰长是Jean-Luc Picard，副舰长是William Riker，制片人Gene Roddenberry希望由女性来担任安全官以表示未来男女平等，Tasha Yar的角色诞生，后来又加入两个女性角色，顾问 Deanna Troi和医官 Beverly Crusher，另外还有一个天才少年Wesley Crusher。为了纪念一位美国众所皆知于 1975 年过逝的眼盲星舰迷George La Forge，Gene Roddenberry创造出一个眼盲的角色－－ Geordi La Forge。接下来是一个生化人的角色－－ Data，他是企业号的科学官。 最后一个角色 Worf，作为一名克林贡人加入了星际联邦代表着昔日的敌人已成为今日的盟友，在冷战时代是个很有意义的角色。
