　　CBS will be bringing back another one of its veteran dramas for the 2019-20 TV season.
　　Announced this afternoon, the network has officially renewed “NCIS” for its seventeenth season. The news comes after star and executive producer, Mark Harmon, signed a new deal with CBS to reprise his role on the series.
　　“NCIS has been a global juggernaut for almost two decades,” said CBS Entertainment President, Kelly Kahl. “Its viewers are clearly the most loyal of any drama on television. They are passionate about the characters, the plotlines and the storytelling. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the gifted production team and the cast, led by the extraordinary Mark Harmon. We are delighted that the show will remain a linchpin of the CBS schedule this coming season.”
　　In its current season, “NCIS” has been averaging 12.2 million viewers in the live + same day ratings, making it TV’s second-most-watched scripted series, behind only “The Big Bang Theory.” It has remained a strong performer for CBS, in both its ratings and viewership numbers, and was widely considered to be a strong renewal contender leading up to the announcement today.
　　With this renewal, “NCIS” now joins “Young Sheldon,” “Mom,” “Criminal Minds,” “God Friended Me,” “Magnum P.I.,” “FBI,” and “The Neighborhood” on a growing list scripted titles confirmed to be returning on CBS for the 2019-20 season.

　　The network has renewed its drama series for a third season. The pickup for the series, produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, comes seven weeks after The Cleaning Lady wrapped its 12-episode second season.

Charlie takes his best friend and star client to meet rocker Atticus Fetch about giving "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love" the Broadway treatment. A revelation about Becca prompts a tailspin that causes Charlie, Karen and Marcy to take action with Hank. Season premiere.

　　Felix McClure, an Oxford University professor, is stabbed to death in his college study. Not only was he an expert in his field but he was one of the University's key fund-raisers. The investigation focuses on Brooks, a one-time cleaner for McClure who quit his college job abruptly after a student, Mathew Rodway, jumped out of a college window high on drugs. When Morse learns that Brooks' daughter was the object of affection for both Rodway and another student, he has another possible suspect. Brooks' wife also worked for one of McClure's friends and Morse uncovers a conspiracy that he may not be able to prove.

　　被残忍杀害的年轻女子、被虐的婴儿、被近亲性侵害的女童、家暴阴影下手足无措的妇女、失调扭曲的家庭关系、很想用心但每每力有未迨的父母、杵在社会家庭人际边缘人性的灰色地带。SVU每回总是触动那块让人无从防备的柔软地带，可爱的孩童，无辜的弱势个体(受性侵害者、同性恋、精神病患)，每个人都多少有些经验感触的亲子、家庭关系。不见得得是多复杂的剧情，像今天，忙於工作单亲母亲剧烈摇晃死自己的一岁多幼女(shake syndrome)，幼小无辜的女孩在母亲一时的暴怒下被辗压击碎，但另一方面你多了解那种拉扯在工作亲子关系中的心力交瘁，可爱时像天使哭闹起来却像恶魔一样让你抓狂的孩子，要怎么以审判指控那、为了不舍得看到无恢复希望的孩子继续受到病痛折磨而毅然决定停止呼吸器，哪怕这将使自己已因杀罪被起诉的母亲？是以就算这是再滥情的一种搬演、操控，每每总还是让观众溃不成军..
　　Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: 对于一部procedural drama来说情节及其设置是成功的关键，L&O: SVU在这方面是相当不错的，同是它也继续着L&O系列的传统：对各个主角的私生活几乎不接触。这样的好处就是可以使观众随时看任意一集而不必担心情节不连续；坏处就是观众群不断更换。Easier to attach, easier to detach. L&O: SVU最大的卖点是sex crime。

　　公共台喜剧《小学风云》第2季秋季档回归。

　　FX将推出Rapper&喜剧明星Lil Dicky主演、聚焦他的生活的一部喜剧剧集，尚未定名。由Dicky和杰夫·谢弗(《联盟》《宋飞正传》)打造，凯文·哈特、格雷格·莫托拉(《太坏了》《新闻编辑室》)、Saladin Patterson(《生活大爆炸》)等执行制作，莫托拉执导首集。
