　　讲述的是一群在虚构的 Pierpoint & Co. 伦敦办事处工作的年轻、竞争激烈、好色的银行家。第二季故事发生在第一季的一年后，设定将同步现实世界，进入后新冠疫情时代。

　　X档案关闭后，穆德（David Duchovny 大卫•杜楚尼 饰）和斯科莉（Gillian Anderson 吉莲•安德森 饰）被分开。穆德受命执行监听工作，斯科莉则回到学院读书。
