　　本片為招振強與李泰亨聯合導演。故事描述，二次世界大戰期間，紅歌女阿花（鄺美寶）逃亡時，遭鄉村大戶陶老爺姦殺，更奪去珠寶錢財；自此陶宅即經常鬧鬼，未幾陶老爺亦神秘死亡，其家人則遷往別處，陶宅從此荒廢。事隔多年，陶老爺之後人陶明（顧冠忠）嗜賭如命，更因阿花鬼魂作怪而欠下鉅款，明妻暗中將故有陶宅售予楊教授夫婦（劉永、錢慧儀），楊入住後即遇上怪事連篇，楊不得不相信全無科學根據的鬼神之說……

 玛西，一位年轻女子，被一个面目狰狞的怪物掳走，这个怪物一心要把她当作自己的孩子抚养长大。

　　在一座被称为黑百合的住宅区，老旧的设施和猩红的花朵散发着死亡的气息。美丽女孩二宫明日香（前田敦子 饰）随父母、弟弟乔迁于此。只是她并未感到太多的喜悦，隔壁筱崎老人（高桥昌也 饰）的房间时常发出不绝于耳的闹铃声和奇怪噪音，父母反复不变的怪异言辞也为她带来更多的不安。第三天，明日香意外发现筱崎老人早已死去多日，现场的惨状以及未能及时发现情况令这个善良的女孩内心承受巨大的压力。借此机缘，她结识了专事遗物清理的青年笹原忍（成宫宽贵 饰）。接二连三的诡异事件使得她不得不依靠笹原。

　　为了侦破棘手案件，警方往往借助线人之手获取情报。然而在行动过程中，却常常有意无意置线人于危险之地。一年前，线人废噏（廖启智 饰）的悲惨下场让香港警察李沧东（张家辉 饰）的身心备受煎熬，表面的荣迁始终洗刷不掉铭刻其心中的罪恶感。而如今，他不得不再次与新的线人合作。这次，他找到了命运多舛的小混混何细鬼（谢霆锋 饰）。为了搭救身陷水火的妹妹，细鬼无奈接受了李沧东的任务，打入金行大盗华天（陆毅 饰）的团伙内部获取情报。
　　在细鬼的帮助下，警方掌握越来越多的证据，抓捕的罗网也渐渐收拢。与此同时，细鬼的境遇也愈加危险。一年前的悲剧似乎将再次重演，李沧东该如何选择……

A young student is murdered in a park by an unseen assailant during a heavy thunderstorm. The murderer makes his escape, but is identified by a number of people at the park exit. A sports presenter from a local TV channel, Alessandro Marchi, is quickly arrested, and despite protestations of innocence, is charged with the murder.
　　Marchi calls his lawyer, who promises to have him released very soon, but when it comes to the trial the lawyers case is a weak one, full of holes, and Marchi is duly found guilty.
　　All is not what it seems and it soon becomes apparent that the lawyer is having an affair with Marchi's wife and obviously does not have Marchi's best interests at heart…

　　Young couple Madeleine and Neil are coaxed by acquaintance Monsieur Beaumont to get married on his Haitian plantation. Beaumont's motives are purely selfish as he makes every attempt to convince the beautiful young girl to run away with him. For help Beaumont turns to the devious Legendre, a man who runs his mill by mind controlling people he has turned into zombies. After Beaumont uses Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, he is dissatisfied with her emotionless being and wants her to be changed back. Legendre has no intention of doing this and he drugs Beaumont as well to add to his zombie collection. Meanwhile, grieving 'widower' Neil is convinced by a local priest that Madeleine may still be alive and he seeks her out.
