　　To his Victorian London friends, Stephen Lowry is a heartbroken widower. Only his housemaid Lily knows that far from dying of gastroenteritis his wife was slowly poisoned by her husband - information she is happy to use to improve her position in the household and to make sure she stays close to Stephen. As his own prospects improve with a business partnership and a romance more of his own class, Stephen decides that Lily must go. Unfortunately for him, his first attempt gives her even more of a hold over him.

　　"Wild in the Streets" comes from the same school of film making that spawned other attempts to connect to the counterculture such as "Skidoo" and "Candy". The difference between this and the aforementioned films is that "Wild in the Streets" is reasonably clever and well-made. It isn't sympathetic to the counterculture and will likely offend those with fond memories of the time. Surprisingly, it was a big hit when released and appealed to the youth whom it ridiculed so much. Unlike "The Trip" and "Psych-Out" (two other AIP films), its not an accurate representation of the movement at all. However it does work as social satire.
　　The direction by Barry Shear is good and makes innovative use of split screen photography. Plus, he keeps everything moving at a quick pace. In its funny moments, the film works well. In its attempts at drama, its helplessly dated and just as funny as the humorous moments. Christopher Jones underplays his role and Shelly Winters overacts. Hal Holbrook offers the best performance and Diane Varsi achieves the right note of "grooviness". The script by Robert Thom has its moments, especially the ending (easily the most ingenious part of the film). "Wild in the Streets" isn't perfect, but deserves recognition as an interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation. Those into this kind of kitsch will enjoy it the most. I'd rather watch "The Trip" or "Psych-Out" however. (6/10)

　　The film starts with a masked killer entering an apartment and murdering a young couple, Krish and Shruti one cold, rainy night in Coimbatore. Five years later, Deepak, the retired police inspector who lost his leg while investigating the case, receives a call from a friend. The friend's son is adamant on becoming a police officer. So, the friend sends his son to Deepak so Deepak can brainwash him into not joining the force since his parents feels it is too dangerous. When the son arrives, he asks Deepak to tell him how he became crippled. Deepak begins to narrate his story of the final case that robbed him of the job he loved.

　　Michael is a successful actor, but he has a scandal in his past: at a tender age he knifed his father to death. He and his girlfriend Deborah go to his mother's for the weekend, and are joined by the director and others from a recent film project, who are given a rather cool reception by the superstitious housekeeper Oliver. Soon rude things begin happening to some of the guests, and Michael fears a repeat of his nightmare past is in progress

　　在六十年代，欧美影坛曾流行盗宝喜剧的风潮，朱尔斯·达辛在伊斯坦弩尔和希腊拍摄的这部影片是其中代表作之一。
　　片中角色鲜活有趣，演员之间的互动处处擦出火花，加上巧妙的盗宝过程，造成一流的娱乐效果。剧情描述梅莲娜·梅尔库丽跟她的情人马克西米利安·谢尔，想偷取土耳其博物馆珍藏的无价之宝短剑，由于守卫森严，他们只好雇用一群犯罪专家进行盗宝计划。
　　不料负责开车的小老千彼得·乌斯蒂诺夫被警方误以为是恐怖分子之一，威胁他作警方内应，因此，一个计划周详的抢劫平添了不可测的变数。
