　　本剧根据编剧Lisa McGee十几岁时的亲身经历改编，讲述了16岁的女孩Erin与她的朋友们在爱尔兰问题时期的搞笑生活故事。

　　纽约地铁上，几个小混混无端挑衅一个衣着褴褛的流浪汉，却不想被他狠狠收拾了一顿，众人全部被带回警局。警官卡特（塔拉吉·P·汉森 Taraji P. Henson 饰）对这个神秘的流浪汉充满兴趣，正当调查处一丝线索，不想流浪汉竟然被人保释。原来流浪汉是一个曾经接受过中央情报局特殊训练的特工里瑟（詹姆斯·卡维泽 James Caviezel 饰），而保释他的则是拥有无限的财富的富翁芬奇（迈克尔·爱默生 Michael Emerson 饰）。芬奇曾为政府研发了一种可识别罪犯犯罪意识的程序，却被政府认为大材小用而关闭了一部分程序。而现在芬奇希望借助里瑟的能力和这一套程序进行“法外执法”，维持正义、制止犯罪......

　　特技演员邦尼 (Bunny) 招募了陷入困境的女演员霍尼 (Honey) 来做兼职多年后，他们危险的过去再次浮出水面，迫使这对疏远的夫妇重新团聚并保护他们的女儿。

　　Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), the guest cast for the first story includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
　　
　　In this first film, McDonald and Dodds begin to investigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented flat. The killer has removed all clues to her identity, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 years ago. Where has she been all those years? And who with?
　　
　　Returning to the cast this series are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) who plays DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line up as DC Lee.
　　
　　The series has been commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Joe Shrubb. Executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer and Charlotte Webber. The first film is written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. Sultan.
