　　本剧讲述前黑帮保镖队长在中学担任体育老师的故事，剧中有许多搞笑情节和引人深思的现象。
　　主人公奥列格·叶夫盖尔维奇·福明（绰号福马）是前黑帮头子玛玛伊的保镖队长，但因为改不掉野蛮暴力的作风和“过时”的工作方式而被开除。福马悲伤而不甘，于是决定通过讨好玛玛伊的孩子萨尼亚回到玛玛伊身边。在老友“疯子”的帮助下，他成功进入萨尼亚所在的中学成为一名体育老师，然而上班第一天毒舌霸道的福马就得罪了萨尼亚、美女教师塔吉亚娜和教导主任。在中学工作的日子里，福马以自己的方式尽力守护着萨尼亚，讨好心仪的塔吉亚娜，帮助办公室的同事们解决难题。福马渐渐展现出了自己心软善良的一面，他的生活中发生了一系列爆笑温馨的故事。

　　故事从Kim Philby (Pearce饰)与MI6同事兼密友Nicholas Elliott (Lewis饰)的复杂关系出发，讲述了Philby这位MI6和KGB双面间谍的叛变。
　　卡司还包括Anna Maxwell Martin、Stephen Kunken和Adrian Edmondson。

　　Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), the guest cast for the first story includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
　　
　　In this first film, McDonald and Dodds begin to investigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented flat. The killer has removed all clues to her identity, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 years ago. Where has she been all those years? And who with?
　　
　　Returning to the cast this series are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) who plays DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line up as DC Lee.
　　
　　The series has been commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Joe Shrubb. Executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer and Charlotte Webber. The first film is written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. Sultan.
