庇护所

　　迫于生计，中年丧妻的自由作家大和充（吹越满 饰）与正在读高中的女儿爱实（黑川芽以 饰）搬到了一幢新公寓内。这幢公寓历史悠久，里面住着许多友善的房客。但是在这和气的表象下，爱实却隐隐感到不安。这里有着奇怪的规定，比如午夜12点前要回到公寓门口的白线内；名字里有“爱”的名字不能提；面色苍白、飘忽不定的沉默少女……这一切都折磨着爱实的神经。从前住户真理子的口中，她得知房东女儿的灵魂久久盘桓于此，在过去30年里已经有13户人家死亡。所有的住户都逃不出幽灵的控制，唯一生还的准则只有一个，那就是新住户搬进来，最老的住户便可以搬出去……

 夜色沉沉的东京新宿站，劳碌一天的人们依旧行色匆匆，仿佛从不知停歇的工蜂。然而却有一群正处在青春期的女孩绽放着无忧无虑的笑容。她们身穿着不同款式的校服，似乎早已约好一般同时来到这里，女孩们在月台前一字排开，手拉手齐齐跳向飞驰而来的列车。一时间血光四溅，54个鲜活的生命瞬间消失。
 这一事件轰动全国，与此同时类似集体自杀的事件愈演愈烈，甚至连调查此案的警官黑田敏春（石橋凌 饰）及其家人也受到波及。黑田的搭档涉泽健次（永瀬正敏 饰）通过不懈的调查，发现一连串的自杀事件都和一个名为“自杀俱乐部”的网站有关。事件的真相究竟如何？惨剧最终能否终止？

　　Ethan is a young, shy and rather reserved designer who has suffered from insomnia for many years due to his terrible nightmares. Believing he has a personality disorder he decides to see a therapist to solve his problem, but it will be thanks to the help of his best friend and a medium that he will face a long journey, a journey that will lead him to discover that his nightmares hide a shocking truth, something darker and more sinister than he ever imagined.

　　A misfit gang of runaways and orphans are taken in by a dark and charismatic father figure who together wreak havoc throughout swamps and trailer parks of central Florida.

　　Walter Williams (Brian Donlevy) is a take-charge captain of industry who has worked his way up in a San Francisco steel company from a position as a sheet metal worker. He loves his wife Irene (Helen Walker) very much and they have planned a vacation drive together. Irene cancels at the last minute claiming a toothache, but asks that Walter drive her cousin Jim Torrance (Tony Barrett) as far as Illinois. Walter agrees and he and Jim take off together but later Jim knocks Walter unconscious and takes the car only to be hit himself by a truck and killed, his body burned beyond recognition. Walter comes to and suffering a concussion and deep confusion from feeling betrayed by Irene hides out in a small Midwest town until guilt and peer pressure force him to go back to San Francisco and tell his story to the Police. But by the time Walter returns to San Francisco a clever detective Lieutenant Quincy (Charles Coburn) has uncovered some facts about Irene and her cousin' Jim. The police have been holding Irene for the murder of her husband Walter but release her considering that Walter was hiding out because he had killed Jim. Along the way to uncovering the truth in Court Walter realizes some hard fact about what he holds valuable and the trust he has put in those around him.

The house has been empty since then, but now Paul and Bella Mallen move into the apartment. Bella Mallen suffers from forgetfulness and nervousness - at least that is what her husband tells her. An elderly horse wrangler, B.G. Rough worked as a policeman twenty years ago and still remembers the unsolved case. He notices that Mr. Mallen looks just like Louis Barre, Mrs. Barlow's nephew. And why does Mr. Mallen so mysteriously leave every night just to go into the apartment next door, nr. 14?

　　自称来自牛津大学的精神病医生兼学者爱德华·纽盖特（吉姆·斯特吉斯 Jim Sturgess 饰）辗转来到了地处偏远的斯通赫斯特精神病院，他希望跟随卓有成就的塞拉斯·莱姆教授（本·金斯利 Ben Kingsley 饰）学习相关治疗方法。塞拉斯神情阴郁，所采用的治疗方法更与当时盛行的方法迥然不同，不过似乎病患的精神状况都得到了一定程度的缓解和康复。在此期间，爱德华被美丽端庄的贵妇人伊莉莎·格拉芙（凯特·贝金赛尔 Kate Beckinsale 饰）所吸引，这名女子因心因性的歇斯底里症状饱受折磨。初来乍到的爱德华隐隐察觉这座病院的诡异之处，而他随后不久更发现了病院背后那可怕惊人的秘密……
