　　女主被老板叫到家里打字，老板夫妇晚上都不在家。第二天早上老板让女主送他们去机场。本来女主应该送完还车，可女主没见过海，就一路从巴黎往南开。途中遇到咖啡厅大妈说认识她；在加油站遭到袭击，员工说没有人袭击她，但昨晚见过她；开夜车遇到警察也说见过她；住的酒店已经在前一天登记过。酒店里一夜情的男子骗了她车，当她找到车时，发现后备箱有具尸体。一夜情男子追上他说偷车之前就有尸体，还有把枪。她越来越迷茫，却被打昏了。是她疯了？还是另有阴谋？

　　本片受到《黄油盒婴儿》真实故事的启发，是一部曲折的超自然惊悚片，也是向《闪灵》、《罗丝玛丽的婴儿》、《9号谋杀案》等经典慢热恐怖片的致敬。影片讲述了一对夫妇为了给妻子庆祝生日来到一个乡村酒店度周末，但这个酒店其实是一个闹鬼的孕产妇家庭所开，有婴儿和母亲在此被谋杀。由此这对夫妻遇到了一系列惊悚的事情。影片主演阵容强大，由戛纳影后苏珊娜·克莱门特领衔主演。

　　2013年的韩国大卖惊悚/恐怖片《捉迷藏》将翻拍美版。Joel David Moore (《青春俄勒冈》)执导，Hyde Park娱乐制作，11月26日开拍，卡司接下来几周宣布。
　　原版由许政执导，讲述一家人与神秘杀手的“捉迷藏”杀戮游戏，涉及贫富差距、家庭等话题。

　　约翰（比利·查平 Billy Chapin 饰）和佩尔（萨莉·简·布鲁斯 Sally Jane Bruce 饰）是一对苦命的兄妹，他们的父亲本（彼得·格雷夫斯 Peter Graves 饰）因抢劫和被判处绞刑。在被逮捕前，本把赃款藏在了佩尔的布娃娃里，并让他们承诺永远不泄露这个秘密。本的狱友哈利（罗伯特·米彻姆 Robert Mitchum 饰）是一个败絮其中的牧师，偶然间他得知了这笔赃款的去向，出狱后，哈利找到了本的妻子薇拉（谢利·温特斯 Shelley Winters 饰），他想方设法得到了薇拉的芳心成为了约翰和佩尔的继父，就此，哈利的阴谋开始了。哈利杀死了对于他来说毫无价值的薇拉，将他弃尸河底，又对兄妹两人威逼利诱想要套出赃款的秘密。在所有努力都没有成果之际，恼羞成怒的哈利露出的本来面目。约翰和佩尔划着小船逃离了哈利，他们一路流浪来到了一个陌生的小镇，专门收养弃婴的善良妇人理查德（丽莲·吉许 Lillian Gish 饰）收留了兄妹两，然而平静的生活没过多久，哈利罪恶的脚步也踏上了这块纯洁的土地。

　　Vienna, 1920. The Austro-Hungarian Empire has collapsed. Peter Perg returns home from the Great War, after seven years as a Russian POW. Vienna is experiencing the multiplicity of political, social and artistic freedom, but also the rise of anti-democratic movements, insecurity and unemployment. Peter, a former police inspector, feels like a stranger in the new Austrian Republic. While wanting to leave town, Peter is confronted with the murder of one of his former comrades. He decides to stay and instead bring the killer to justice. His ally is Dr. Theresa Körner, a determined and cool-headed forensic doctor. The two are linked not only by this case, but also by a deeper, shared history. As their investigation progresses, they realise that they are not just up against a systematic killer, who tortures his victims, but also face disapproval and intrigue from within the police force. Though determined to solve the crime, Peter, harbouring his own secrets, increasingly becomes tormented by existential questions: What is truth? What is heroism in the time of war? And all the while he fails to see the mounting danger before him.

　　The lady is Mrs. Hilyard, a wealthy poetess who lives in a three-story city mansion and her cage is her elevator, which stops a dozen feet short of the main floor due to an electrical failure on a July 4th weekend. She rings her outside alarm, eventually noticed by a drunken derelict, who breaks into the house, ignores her plight and helps himself to various items and alcohol. He leaves with his loot but returns a while later with a plump prostitute and three teenage hoodlums, who proceed to terrorize Mrs. Hilyard as they wreck her home.

　　故事讲述到深山去过周末的一对情侣在途中遭遇飞车党的攻击，面对死亡威胁，这对情侣只能拼死抵抗飞车党，并最终摆脱了危险。
