死亡航班

　　一个岛屿度假胜地举办了一个独特的情侣度假胜地，旨在重新点燃激情的火焰。当 Stacy 和她的儿子 朋友来了，性感的乐趣很快就被一个以他们的痛苦为食的恶毒实体打断了。

　　Ian Stone（Mike Vogel 饰）最近的生活陷入了一片混乱：每一天，在时间停止的瞬间，他总会被不知名的怪物杀死，尽管“死后重生”，他又会以不同的身份开始新的生活，办公室的小职员、出租车司机、吸毒者……，但是死亡的命运却不可抗拒。

　　恐怖电影“来自坟墓下面” 由4个故事组成，当顾客从一家古董店买古董时，他们得到的不单是古董。一个人买了一面镜子，他被鬼魂骚扰，迫使他自杀，这样它就可以重生。一位疲倦的丈夫买了一枚旧的战争奖章，因此遇上一名神秘的前度军人和他女儿，她们帮助他杀死妻子。一个人在火车上遇见个陌生人，他告诉他的肩膀上有鬼魂…他征募一个妇女来驱魔。最后一个人买了一扇很大的古老门，它让他回到查尔斯一世的时代。

　　一对幸福的小夫妻，妻子白静怀孕导致神经衰弱，丈夫刘涛（许绍洋 饰）为了妻子的健康，决定搬到乡下别墅去养胎。然而，这是一所被冤魂诅咒的诡宅，白静不停的被各种灵异事件折磨 ......

　　为自然风光所环抱的鬼切村，正经历一场惊心动魄的变革。当地大企业社长堀部伍平在野外遭到黑熊的袭击身亡，其身为副社长的外甥大吉（千叶哲也 饰）随即扶正，并力主将对很多人都至为重要的后山卖给他人。大吉的弟弟音弥（藤原龙也 饰）虽身为专务，但调皮顽劣，无心商界，加上性格的不同，因此与大吉一向不和。包括音弥和当地民俗资料馆馆长天马恭介（石坂浩二 饰）在内的许多人都反对这一决定，但大吉刚愎自用，拒不退让。此举令音弥极度不满，因此精心策划了一起完美谋杀案，并且具有强有力的不在场证明。古畑任三郎（田村正和 饰）、今泉慎太郎（西村雅彦 饰）与西园寺这一全新组合登场，迎战音弥送上的超完美谋杀案……

　　The film starts with a masked killer entering an apartment and murdering a young couple, Krish and Shruti one cold, rainy night in Coimbatore. Five years later, Deepak, the retired police inspector who lost his leg while investigating the case, receives a call from a friend. The friend's son is adamant on becoming a police officer. So, the friend sends his son to Deepak so Deepak can brainwash him into not joining the force since his parents feels it is too dangerous. When the son arrives, he asks Deepak to tell him how he became crippled. Deepak begins to narrate his story of the final case that robbed him of the job he loved.

　　秀赫是一个乡村小学的老师。他有一个秘密：每天晚上，他的妻子易英都会变成另一个人。有一天，他的一个学生的父亲知道了他们的秘密，并告知村民易英的身体每晚被一种恶灵所占据。村民一致认为易英非常危险，他们要求易英每晚进入上锁的笼子。结果这对夫妻很快在不明原因的大火中丧生。一名警探被派来调查，他一个接一个地审问村民，村子上的气氛逐渐变得诡异。一天晚上，村民们邀请警探到市政厅喝一杯。喝酒后，警探失去了意识。第二天，警探在之前那个笼子里醒来，但是每个人都称他为“老师”。他意识到自己已经变成了秀赫……

民国年间，一个偏远小镇在战乱中艰难维持着安宁，而在七月十五俗称“鬼节”的这一夜，城中却出现了“百鬼出坟”的传言，先是有村民夜中与鬼赌命，又有村中老人头七之夜还魂归来，就连镇长家都出现了“五煞鬼”作祟的连环凶案。随着探长韩铭的深入调查，案情却逐步变得更加波诡云谲——水井深夜冒出血泉、棺材铺掌柜遇鬼买棺、老族长荒庙之中诡异自焚，而一切的源头，都来自在那晚进城的一个神秘戏班子……

　　Vienna, 1920. The Austro-Hungarian Empire has collapsed. Peter Perg returns home from the Great War, after seven years as a Russian POW. Vienna is experiencing the multiplicity of political, social and artistic freedom, but also the rise of anti-democratic movements, insecurity and unemployment. Peter, a former police inspector, feels like a stranger in the new Austrian Republic. While wanting to leave town, Peter is confronted with the murder of one of his former comrades. He decides to stay and instead bring the killer to justice. His ally is Dr. Theresa Körner, a determined and cool-headed forensic doctor. The two are linked not only by this case, but also by a deeper, shared history. As their investigation progresses, they realise that they are not just up against a systematic killer, who tortures his victims, but also face disapproval and intrigue from within the police force. Though determined to solve the crime, Peter, harbouring his own secrets, increasingly becomes tormented by existential questions: What is truth? What is heroism in the time of war? And all the while he fails to see the mounting danger before him.

　　This early 70's giallo by Umberto Lenzi is certainly among the best in his filmography and also in the whole genre. Personally I think Lenzi's best films are the funny cartoon-turned-film Kriminal, the stylish giallo Seven Blood-Stained Orchids, the explosive Napoli violenta and this. In the eighties he did plenty of film trash in form of Eaten Alive, Hitcher in the Dark or Black Demons, all of which are ripping something off and/or very dull and slow moving. Knife of Ice came when the giallo boom was at its hottest and the result is convincing.
　　Technically the film is superb, containing great cinematography in the beginning when we learn about the main character's trauma towards trains. From this point on, Lenzi shows us his ability to benefit the widescreen and, for example, the bicycle ride near the forest is genuinely beautiful! This scene also shows Lenzi's ability to build suspense, very slowly but meaningfully. After all, there aren't so many murders in the whole film, only the suspense circulating around the murderer's identity.
　　One suspect is a devil worshipper which brings new aspects to the mystery. Since the final scene takes place in a church, one can wonder if Lenzi wanted to comment on something, maybe the hypocritical morale of church and superstition. The main character (Carrol Baker) is mute which demands a lot from her face and eyes. The actress works very well, giving us a believable performance circulating around the emotions of fear and mental pain. The other actors are good, too. The finally, however, may not give too positive a sight about female sex since they all are expressed rather negatively in the film, one way or another. Still this is easily among the most noteworthy in the genre, not as bloody as the Argento films, for example, but equally suspenseful and visually also interesting.

　　After new CIA recruit, Kelley Chandler (Polish) is seriously injured during a mission, surviving only on life support, his wife Tess (Agron), a former CIA operative, becomes determined to find out what happened to her husband. As the details of Kelley's last mission unravel, showing that his accident was an inside job, Tess puts everything on the line to keep Kelley out of harm's way, even if that comes with dangerous consequences.
