　　Freeform公布10集新剧《诡媚海妖 Siren》（前名《深海 The Deep》，电视台改名后首部试映集）定档18年，该剧由Eric Wald及Dean White负责编剧，《诡媚海妖》背景设定在Bristol Cove，这个海滨小镇因被称为传说中的美人鱼栖息地而 闻名；而当一个神秘女孩的出现，证明传说都是事实﹑并且美人鱼要重夺海洋后，一场人类及海洋之间的战争即将要展开。
　　Alex Roe饰演Ben，聪明的海洋生物学家，他被镇上新出现﹑有着黑暗秘密的神秘女孩Ryn（Eline Powell饰）所吸引﹑Fola Evans-Akingbola饰演Maddie，跟Ben一同工作的海洋生物学家，对Ryn抱有高度怀疑。Ian Verdun饰演深海渔民Xander，他希望能找出真相﹑Rena Owen饰演镇里的怪人Helen，看似比其他人更清楚理解美人鱼的传说。Sibongile Mlambo饰演神秘﹑有强大迷惑力的美人鱼Donna。

　　该剧根据同名小说改编，设定为轴心国在第二次世界大战击败了同盟国，美国向德国和日本帝国投降，是一部架空历史的幻想类剧集。

When he finally gets together with Joey, he is the only one to have remembered her 20th birthday.
