　　从前有个畅销罪案小说作家，遇到了一位干练美丽的高妹警探，从此便如跟屁虫一般穿着写有“作家”的防弹背心跟随着她。他们一起办过不少奇异的案子，建筑工地的冰冻女尸啦，万圣节被木桩钉死的吸血鬼啦，性虐俱乐部谜团啦，再就是跟“绝望主妇”一起抓连环杀手，跟“英雄”一起反恐神马的。他俩眉来眼去，情深意切，却总是点到为止。第三季结尾，贝克特中枪，大叔那句我爱你会不会说得太迟呢？当然不迟——第四季的结尾他们终于……

　　The story of a young group of siblings pretty much abandoned by their parents, surviving by their wits - and humor - on a rough Manchester council estate. Whilst they won't admit it, they need help and find it in Steve, a young middle class lad who falls for Fiona, the oldest sibling, and increasingly finds himself drawn to this unconventional and unique family. Anarchic family life seen through the eyes of an exceptionally bright fifteen year old, who struggles to come of age in the context of his belligerent father, closeted brother, psychotic sister and internet porn star neighbors.

Meanwhile, Sam, Nessa, Mary and Delinda desperately attempt to find tenants for their new joint-purchased home, settling on what they think to be the perfect tenants, only to discover they've misjudged the situation.

　　NBC宣布《法律与秩序：特殊受害者》续订第21季。该剧也刷新了美剧史上“最长寿的黄金时段真人剧集”纪录。

　　《妙探双姝 Rizzoli & Isles》此前虽未续订，但作为TNT中收视名列前茅的剧集，不续订是不可能的；TNT续订了18集的第六季，在2015年的夏季播出，这集数肯定也是分上下季的形式播出了。

　　FX新喜剧《亚特兰大》早早就续订了第二季，不过因为主演Donald Glover要参演《星球大战》Han Solo外传电影（饰演要角Lando Calrissian）的关系，该剧在TCA上宣布17年不会有第二季，要推迟到18年才播出。

　　由艾美奖和BAFTA奖提名者海蒂·托马斯创作、根据畅销书《詹妮弗·沃斯回忆录》改编、英国广播公司（BBC）出品的剧集《呼叫助产士》，由Neal Street Productions打造，讲述了20世纪50年代伦敦东区助产士们的工作、生活与情感。
　　在第九季中，Nonnatus 修道院的医护人员和助产士正在进入一个大胆创新的时代。人口变化，规则改变、旧疾病卷土重来，都令他们面临着意想不到的挑战。除了新生儿降临带来的喜悦，他们还必须应对包括白喉、药物滥用、癌症、肺结核和瘘管病在内的病例所带来的困扰和威胁，同时，每个人也在经历着充满爱、失去和怀疑的生活。

　　《极品基老伴》主演雅各比爵士昨天在BAFTA典礼上无意透露了该剧续订第2季的消息。搞笑的是他接受采访的腔调居然延续了剧中角色的风格：“他（麦克莱恩）跑去拍电影了啦，现在没空——让上帝诅咒他！直到明年5月我们才会再这么来一次。”《基老伴》在ITV台播出后大受好评，刚提前完成今年圣诞集的拍摄。

　　在奥斯曼帝国时期的伊斯坦布尔，一名不顾一切的科学家遭遇不幸后，他的学生试图采用未经测试的方法来完成他的工作，结果却引发了可怕的后果。

　　该剧根据同名经典黑色小说（noir novel）改编，由奥斯卡影后凯特·温丝莱特（Kate Winslet）主演。故事发生在美国经济大萧条时期，女主人公Mildred Pierce Beragon与失业的丈夫Bert（Brian F. O'Byrne）分了手，靠一份女服务员的工作维持生计。她一方面想维持自己的社会地位，另一方面又渴望独立和自由。在为生活奔忙的同时，她还要想尽一切办法赢得女儿Veda（Evan Rachel Wood）的爱与尊重。Guy Pearce扮演Mildred的情人，一个富有的花花公子。James LeGros扮演Bert以前的商业伙伴。Melissa Leo扮演Mildred的好友。Morgan Turner扮演童年时的Vada。
　　可以预见，明年金球奖和艾美奖与电视迷你剧有关的主要奖项都将归属这部剧集。
